- Pay: £18 - £21.50 per hour DOE
- Hours: 9 hours per day - flexible start and finish times (earlier the better)
- Saturdays: Optional overtime paid at flat rate
The successful candidate will have experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim (MET) repairs, with a strong bias towards Mechanical work, including suspension, wheel alignment, mechanical stripping, and fitting.
Duties & Responsibilities for this MET Technician role:
- Stripping and refitting mechanical and electrical components on accident-damaged vehicles.
- Carrying out suspension and wheel alignment repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnosing faults and rectifying issues efficiently.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Working within a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
- Liaising with other technicians and departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Proven experience as an MET Technician, ideally in an accident repair environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on suspension, wheel alignment, and mechanical fitting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A relevant qualification in crash repair(e.g., ATA, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
