Reporting to the Managing Director and accountable for 16 members of staff in the bodyshop, your responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day control of the Bodyshop Technicians (Paint/Prep/Panel/Alloy Wheel)
- Liaise with the Bodyshop Manager and productive team to ensure the best process.
- Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated effectively to other members of the team.
- Monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure key performance indicators are met.
- To calculate and manage the effective use of the bodyshop.
- Plan the distribution of work among the team utilising the available skills mix.
- Identify individual training and development needs.
- Manage liaison between the workshop and bodyshop reception on customer vehicle progress.
- Manage workshop standards by HSO requirements.
