- Location: Erith, Kent
- Salary: £24,531 Basic + £33,600 OTE
- Hours: 7.5 hours per day between 8am - 6pm, Monday - Friday
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a well-established automotive business. As an Internal Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in driving sales growth within an assigned territory, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention through account management and new business development.
Key Responsibilities as a Telesales Consultant:
- Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers in line with daily targets.
- Achieve individual and team sales goals through effective persuasion and negotiation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Actively sell and upsell products and services to maximise revenue.
- Reactivate dormant accounts and secure new business opportunities.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner, escalating where necessary.
- Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems.
- Stay up to date with company products, promotions, and industry trends.
- Implement the company’s multichannel sales strategy.
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop and improve sales strategies.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Complete E-learning modules as required.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Support marketing and promotional events.
- Take part in special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Participate in ride-alongs with managers or colleagues to enhance sales techniques.
- Proven sales experience and/or industry experience.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to meet sales targets.
- A clear and confident telephone manner with excellent listening skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with a proactive attitude.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Experience in telesales, sales, or customer service (preferred).
- Familiarity with automotive components (training provided).
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Competitive Basic Salary + achievable OTE of £33,600
- Monday - Friday only (no weekends!)
