Our client is seeking a skilled Motorcycle MOT Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for conducting MOT tests, inspections, servicing, and repairs on motorcycles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. During non-peak motorcycle seasons, you will also assist with tyre fitting, tyre repairs, and servicing cars and light commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Motorcycle MOT tests in line with VOSA regulations.
  • Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on motorcycles.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and use diagnostic tools to identify faults.
  • Repair engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other key components.
  • Replace worn or defective parts as needed.
  • Conduct basic mechanical servicing of cars and light commercial vehicles when required.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
About You:
  • Valid MOT Tester Certificate (Class 1 & 2).
  • Full UK Motorcycle Licence.
  • Level 3 Certificate in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in motorcycle servicing and repairs.
  • Strong understanding of MOT testing requirements and motorcycle mechanics.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting when required.
  • Experience with a variety of motorcycle makes and models.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
