- Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, alternate Saturdays 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
- Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Answer queries, offer advice, and introduce new products.
- Stock Management: Receive, move, and store stock accurately.
- Order Processing: Handle orders from the service department, workshop, and trade customers via phone, email, and website.
- Product Advice & Sales: Assist customers in selecting the right parts and promote additional products.
- Supplier Coordination: Check availability and process orders with suppliers.
- Delivery & Returns: Send orders via courier and manage returns efficiently.
- Trade Client Management: Maintain and grow the trade client database, including prospecting for new customers.
- Invoicing & Payments: Raise invoices and process payments.
- Sales Targets: Monitor and aim to achieve weekly, monthly, and annual targets.
- Strong organisation, administration, and IT skills.
- Ability to explain technical details clearly to customers.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Commercial awareness and a keen eye for business growth opportunities.
- Confident, patient, and professional with a proactive approach.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
