Online Parts Administrator & IT Systems Support Required in Hampshire
  • Basic Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 (Negotiable for Standout Candidates)
  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:30
  • 1 in 2 Saturdays: 08:30 - 16:00

Our client, a family-run business with a rich history dating back to the 1940s, is seeking a tech-savvy, automotive enthusiast to join their team as an Online Parts Administrator & IT Systems Support.
 
As one of the fastest-growing automotive businesses in Hampshire, our client has grown exponentially over the last five years, now employing over 130 staff members. Key Responsibilities of the Online Parts Administrator & IT Systems Support:
  • Ebay Administration & Online Sales Support – Managing online listings, responding to customer enquiries, and ensuring accurate parts pricing.
  • Parts Research & Pricing – Identifying customer parts requirements and researching the market to determine competitive pricing.
  • Stock Control & Organisation – Ensuring parts are stored in an orderly manner and stock levels are effectively managed.
  • Minor IT Support – Acting as the right-hand person to the IT systems specialist, assisting with basic IT functions.
  • Technical Support & Compliance – Ensuring all company policies and industry guidelines are met.
  • Workshop Collaboration – Liaising with workshop technicians to assist in sourcing and pricing parts.
What our client is looking for:
  • Automotive Knowledge – Ideally, someone who knows car parts, brands, and vehicle components.
  • IT & Database Experience – Strong IT literacy and the ability to support minor IT functions within the business.
  • Sales & Customer Service Experience – Any parts or service experience in a vehicle dealership would be highly beneficial.
  • Industry Software Knowledge – Experience with Pinnacle, Microcat Parts Lookup, or Superservice would be advantageous.
  • Organised & Detail-Oriented – Strong ability to keep stock and online listings accurate and up to date.
  • Team Player & Customer-Focused – A personable approach to working with both customers and internal staff.
