Our client is a leading agricultural equipment provider with sites across the country. They're currently looking for an experienced Agricultural Service Technician to join their team at the Buckingham site.

As an Agricultural Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing agricultural machinery, ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and providing excellent customer service to support farmers and agricultural businesses.

Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintain agricultural machinery to manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other mechanical faults.
  • Use diagnostic software via a laptop (training provided).
  • Identify and report machine defects, upselling services where possible.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work with supporting photographs.
  • Ensure returned demonstration machines are complete and undamaged.
  • Support in preparing for shows, open days, and working events.
Requirements:
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Experienced in servicing a range of machinery within the agricultural, commercial vehicle, or construction industries.
  • Ideally hold a relevant Land-Based Engineering qualification.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
