Our client is now looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a successful, growing business in Leicestershire. This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a key role at a well-established site with a busy workshop, a great team, and big plans for the future.

You’ll be responsible for leading the workshop, keeping things running smoothly day-to-day, and helping drive the team’s performance in line with high service standards. If you’re currently a Workshop Controller, Assistant Service Manager, or a senior tech with leadership experience, this could be a fantastic next step.

What’s in it for you:
  • Basic salary up to £32,000
  • Realistic OTE of up to £45,000 depending on experience

Your working hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
  • Saturday mornings on rota, 8:30am – 1:00pm
What you’ll be doing:
  • Managing day-to-day workshop operations
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of technicians
  • Ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Working closely with the front-of-house team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Keeping on top of health & safety and workshop compliance
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in a main dealer or busy independent workshop
  • Previous Workshop Controller or Assistant Service Manager experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A hands-on approach with a drive to improve workshop performance
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance is preferred but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
