Key Responsibilities of the Fleet Manager:
As Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales and financial targets by leading and developing the Corporate Sales Team.
Your role will include:
- Maximising Profitability: Directing and managing Fleet Sales operations to drive sales and achieve set targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Proactively engaging with customers via calls, emails, and meetings to offer tailored solutions, ensuring brand compliance while leveraging broader group opportunities when appropriate.
- Sales Leadership: Delivering compelling sales presentations, motivating your team, and continuously assessing their performance to help them achieve individual and team goals.
- Team Development: Providing guidance and support to the corporate sales team, driving improvements in sales performance through regular feedback, training, and motivational initiatives.
- Strategic Marketing: Collaborating with the marketing team to design and execute effective sales strategies, ensuring they align with brand objectives and overall business targets.
- Customer Retention & Aftercare: Offering outstanding aftersales support to build long-term, meaningful relationships with corporate clients.
- Reporting & Analysis: Compiling and analysing sales data, reporting on performance, and making actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with manufacturers to ensure large opportunities are fully maximised, and terms are optimised for customers.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the retail motor industry, with hands-on experience in sales and fleet management.
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in a target-driven, sales-focused environment with a customer-first mentality.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership ability, with experience in motivating, managing, and developing sales teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations and develop strong relationships with clients and manufacturers.
- Numerate and Articulate: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and develop strategies for improvement.
- Full Driving License: A valid full driving license is required for client visits.
