Our client, based in Bishop’s Stortford is looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join their busy Main Car Dealership, they are a highly reputable company and offer amazing progression and training potentials to motivate and celebrate success within the job.

The ideal Candidate for this Workshop Controller vacancy will have a motor trade background along with brining an energetic and supportive character into the workshop. It is also neccessary for the successful candidate to hold a level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) along with a strong understanding of COSHH Legalisation, Trade Practices and Consumer Legalisation.

Day to day features of the workshop controller vacancy:
  • Making sure all service work is correctly carried out and completed on time.
  • Liaising with colleagues and other departments to ensure quality service to customers.
  • Assisting staff with technical challenges.
  • Writing technical reports alongside being the team’s support.
  • Ensuring the safety of the environment and making sure all practices comply with DVSA, Health and Safety and OEM policy.
