Vehicle Prep Technician Required in Chelmsford, Essex.

Our client is a highly successful Prestige Franchised / Main Car Dealer based in Chelmsford, they are seeking an experienced and qualified Vehicle Prep Technician to join their productive and successful workshop team.

Duties will include carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles as well as:
  • Fitting number plates.
  • Carrying out checks in line with manufacturers guidelines.
  • Fitting any additional accessories requested by the customer.
  • Vehicle health check and report any further work which may be required.
Details & Benefits of this Vehicle Prep Technician:
  • Weekdays Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
  • Saturdays worked on a rota basis.
  • Basic Salary: up to £30,000 basic (depending on experience/skill level) p.a.
  • Bonus Opportunity around £6,000 p.a. on top of the basic salary.

The successful Vehicle Prep Technician will have:
  • 2-3 years time service as a Vehicle Technician within a professional workshop.
  • A qualification and certificates for NVQ Level 3 – Vehicle Mechanics.
  • A full UK driving license & your own set of tools.
  • UK Right to work and residential address.
