Automotive Senior Vehicle Technician, required for our client's Vehicle Dealership in Chichester!

Our client, a multi-site dealership group with a significant presence in both East and West Sussex, representing a range of well-established automotive brands, is currently seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician. This role would suit anyone with automotive experience, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and experience in either main dealers or independent garages as a Senior Technician.

Duties of a Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards
  • Working in line with brand and dealership processes
  • Liaising with customers when required
  • Providing support and mentoring to less experienced colleagues, ensuring they stay up to date with processes and repairs
  • Sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Under taking, Battery, EV, Mechanical and Electrical Diagnosis
What our Client expects from their Senior Vehicle Technicians:
  • 5 years plus experience as a Vehicle Technician 
  • Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ accreditation
  • MOT Tester qualification (ideal but not essential)
  • Previous experience in a franchise dealership (preferable)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
