Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester required in Sudbury, Suffolk.

Our client is a highly successful Automotive Service and Repair Company based in the Sudbury area, they are looking to add to their team by hiring and experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester for their busy workshop.

The role of a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester will consist of:
  • Variety of MOT testing, service and repair work.
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise.
  • Communicate with team members effectively to ensure efficient workflow.
Skills/Qualifications Required or this Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester vacancy include:
  • Qualified MOT Tester Class 4 (and ideally Class 7 but not essential).
  • Competent in vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes and electrical on all makes and models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
Details & Benefits of this Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester vacancy include:
  • Weekdays Hours at Monday – Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm.
  • Every other Saturday is worked 8.00am – 12.30pm.
  • They are closed Sundays and Bank Holidays (with the exception of Good Friday where you can chose to work this day as overtime however this is not compulsory).
  • They pay competitive salaries based on skill set and experience which is up to £38,000 p.a.
  • Achievable bonus scheme in place on average earning an additional £300 per month.
