Key Responsibilities of the Parts Supervisor:
- Lead and Supervise: Manage the day-to-day operations of the parts department, ensuring smooth and efficient performance.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers, maintaining strong relationships.
- Stock Management: Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock records and optimal stock levels to meet workshop and customer demands.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the workshop and sales teams to understand parts requirements and align with business goals.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on HGV technology and industry trends to support informed decision-making and advice.
- Process Optimisation: Streamline parts ordering, delivery, and inventory processes for maximum efficiency.
- Proven experience as an HGV Parts Advisor or similar role within the commercial vehicle sector.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy goods vehicle parts and their applications.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in computerised inventory systems.
