Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
  • Required in Guildford, Surrey
  • Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 basic + £6,000 bonus + overtime available at time and a half.
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, with flexible start and finish times.
We are working with a leading Motor Trade Dealer Group with a long-standing reputation for excellence and success in the automotive industry. Operating for over 20 years and representing multiple prestigious vehicle brands, they are known for their commitment to their employees and outstanding service delivery.

Our client is seeking an experienced Technician to join their professional team. While MOT Tester certification is desirable, it is not essential, making this a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Technician looking to expand their career.

Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
  • Conducting routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
  • Performing diagnostic checks and troubleshooting issues.
  • Carrying out repairs to a high standard.
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT tests and conducting MOTs (if qualified).
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in line with industry regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications.
  • MOT Tester certification (preferred but not essential).
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
