  • Location: Bedford
  • Basic Salary: up to £38,000 + bonus 
  • OTE: £43,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am - 1:30pm

My client is a respected main dealer based in Bedford, they're looking to take on a new Workshop Controller. They need a leader with excellent attitude towards teamwork.

If you're an experience Vehicle Technician / Workshop Controller who's looking for a new role, this job is highly rewarding. The company themselves have plenty of group benefits to utilise and state of the art facilities.

Responsibilities for a Workshop Controller:
  • Assigning work to Vehicle Technicians to ensure the smooth running of the workshop.
  • The role will involve ensuring all incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resources of your team.
  • You will assign a team of Technicians to tasks, ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to at all times.
Requirements for this Workshop Controller role: 
  • Ideally have experience a Senior Technician / Workshop Controller
  • Confident in all jobs from servicing to diagnostics, to enable you to advise both technicians, service advisors and customers
  • A Full UK Driving License 
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment 
  • Able to make on the spot decisions, with the customers and company at best interests in mind
