  • Location: Croydon
  • Salary: £28,000
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Are you an organised and detail-driven professional? A leading Commercial Vehicle Dealership in Croydon is seeking a Service/Warranty Administrator to ensure smooth and efficient service and warranty operations.
 
In this pivotal position, you’ll manage service, warranty, and employer invoice procedures, ensuring full compliance with manufacturer policies. Your role will directly contribute to maximising profitability and maintaining top-notch service standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Service / Warranty Administrator:
  • Prepare and issue retail pro-forma invoices for customer quotations.
  • Oversee the closure of purchase order numbers.
  • Reconcile warranty and PFL self-billing invoices 
  • Generate warranty and credit notes for customer accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve CCM-related queries on warranty and PFL accounts.
  • Perform risk assessments for warranty and claims.
  • Monitor daily workshop work-in-progress (WIP) levels, maintaining them below 250 hours at all times.
  • Accurately classify warranty and PFL job cards based on technician write-ups.
  • Ensure all coding and repair times are correct, resolving discrepancies with the Service Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Workshop Manager to address missing or incorrect job card details.
  • Process claims through the IT system promptly, adhering to manufacturer standards.
  • Manage referred and rejected claims daily, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Handle manufacturer parts label requests and coordinate with the Parts Department to maintain accurate records.
  • Assign non-warranty repairs to the Service Advisor for processing and invoicing.
  • Perform weekly verification of warranty jobs, ensuring all are submitted through internal system.
  • Work with the Parts Department to manage weekly parts holding processes.
