Workshop Controller Needed in Manchester 
  • Location: Hybrid (Office and Home-based after probation)
  • Working Hours: 45 hours/week
  • Salary: Negotiable + Bonus!

Our client is looking for an experienced Workshop Controller with excellent knowledge of the Motor Trade. This is a rewarding and flexible role, offering hybrid working options after an initial probation period. Responsible for Managing a Mobile Service Technician team.  

Key Responsibilities for a Workshop Controller:
  • Oversee the staff and facilities of the workshop, ensuring efficient operations
  • Motivate and support technicians to meet targets and maintain high productivity and quality service
  • Track vehicle progress through the workshop and liaise with Service Reception to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Drive customer care standards and ensure high service levels
  • Maintain communication with team members, ensuring work is carried out to specification
What We’re Looking For in a Workshop Controller: 
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician is required
  • Full UK driving license
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in the automotive industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of motor vehicles and geographical knowledge of the North West
  • Ability to motivate a team and drive results
  • Customer-focused with the ability to deliver excellent service
