Our Client a one of the world’s largest suppliers of Construction & Industrial Machinery are seeking a Workshop Based Generator Engineer in the Aldershot area. 

Our Clients has been within the industry for nearly 30 years with a large customer based from small individual businesses to major international organisations. They provide a variety of equipment for construction, agricultural and other applications.

Duties of Industrial Field Service Generator Engineer with our Client: 
  • Investigates and resolves technical problems.
  • Services various machines both on site.
  • Troubleshoots and solves problems independently.
  • Completes job cards promptly and to a high standard within the given timeframe.
  • Submits paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner.
  • Requests parts efficiently and effectively.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Builds and maintains good working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Supervises apprentices when required, ensuring high-quality work and safe procedures.
  • Complies with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment.
  • Ensures all work and personal equipment meet safety standards.
  • Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
  • Adheres to the Company Health and Safety Policy, ensuring the safety of self, colleagues, and customers.
  • Keeps personal tools safe and legal for use.
What our Client expects of their Workshop Generator Engineers: 
  • Strong mechanical knowledge 
  • Diagnose and investigate technical problems, which may involve climbing underneath or on top of heavy plant machinery.
  • Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills
  • IT Proficient
  • Interpersonal relationships/ Customer awareness/ Commercial awareness
