VDA – Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator Required in Canterbury, Kent
  • Position: VDA – Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator
  • Location: Canterbury, Kent
  • Salary: Basic up to £50,000 + Bonus, OTE £55,000
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:30, 45 hours per week, Flexibility with Start & Finish Times

Our client, a renowned name in the accident repair industry, is seeking an exceptional VDA to join their state-of-the-art facility in Canterbury. With BS 10123 Accreditation and multiple manufacturer endorsements, they are at the forefront of vehicle damage assessment and repair.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Estimator:
  • Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles.
  • Accurately assess damage, repair costs, and timeframes.
  • Identify and document the correct repair methods.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies to obtain repair authorisations.
  • Liaise with customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure understanding of repair methodologies.
  • Produce high-quality work that meets technical and customer service standards.
Desired Skills and Qualifications as a Vehicle Estimator:
  • Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds or ATA with a solid Bodyshop background.
  • ATA & Audatex certifications are a Must-Have! 
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Full UK/EU Driving Licence.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Dedicated to providing an outstanding customer experience.
