They are currently seeking a Workshop Controller to lead their successful Service Department based in the Sevenoaks area. - Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop and manage a team of skilled Technicians.
- Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, and quality control.
- Allocate work effectively to ensure the smooth operation of the workshop.
- Liaise with the Service Advisors to prioritise jobs and communicate timeframes to customers.
- Support and guide technicians with technical queries and diagnostic work.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and manufacturer standards are met.
- Drive a positive team culture and foster a high-performance environment.
- Maintain health & safety compliance and workshop housekeeping standards.
- Previous Workshop Controller / Senior Technician experience in a main dealer or busy independent environment.
- Strong technical background with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise workload.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
